Yamato Judo Club Interclub Competition 2025

Coventry Yamato Interclub Competition – 6th April 2025

We were proud to take part in the Coventry Yamato Judo Club Interclub Competition on 6th April 2025, with 16 of our players stepping onto the tatami to represent Judo Academy Northampton. The event was packed with exciting contests, excellent sportsmanship, and a strong showing of talent from clubs across the region.

Our players gave it their all, and their efforts certainly paid off. We brought home a fantastic haul of medals, including 5 Gold, 5 Silver, and 6 Bronze – a brilliant result that reflects the hard work put in by everyone in training.

A special mention goes to Roberta, who truly impressed on the day by taking home double silver – one for her own weight category and another for bravely competing in the category above. That determination and bravery are exactly what we love to see on the mat.
